With this update I decided to go with a mobile-first approach. The site follows a similar layout but has been refined. New header and navigation, and improved layout site-wide.
Both the main site and my blog have been refreshed.
A contact form drops down from below the navigation after clicking Contact so users can send their message without having to go to a new page.
PHP, CSS and jQuery interact to dynamically optimize different areas of the site depending on which page is being viewed. Accessibly Designed to include IE and Javascript-disabled browsers.
Stuff that’s still great:
- Responsive Design includes mobile and desktop views
- Content Management for easily creating and changing all website content
- Tagging and Categorization for organizing portfolio entries based on type of web design
- User-friendly admin interface so I can easily add portfolio items or change text in my services
- Search Engine Optimization
- custom design, as always
